Specialty women’s retail has been one of the hardest hit sub-sectors of retail. Pro4ma analyzed the U.S., full-priced locations of nine different women’s retail concepts to better understand the market dynamics underlying performance. Based on Pro4ma market analysis, Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, and J Crew appear to have the highest value, healthiest markets. White House | Black Market, Dressbarn, Banana Republic, and Chicos have the lowest value, most over-stored markets.
